A lot of couples who undergo fertility treatments in another country or at a place far from their home in the UK are seeking the ability to obtain an ultrasound scan at a certain date of their menstrual cycle, and to determine the extent of the endometrium prior the implantation of fertilised eggs.
Examining the lining of the uterus in this manner helps in following the changes that happen during a normal cycle.
